Eastern Europe

After nearly a month in Russia, the visa runs out and it is time to leave. I decide to spend a few weeks going through Eastern Europe, stopping here and there. Along the way I don't really encounter anything too unusual or interesting, but the journey is quite nice and there is no shortage of things to see and do.

Portcullis
Many of the cities visited (Tallin, Krakow, Prague, etc) have tourist areas centered around the "Old Town" of the cities. Despite the fact that these eventually seem to be quite similar and therefore loose their uniqueness and appeal, they are always a nice place for a stroll, and I was never bored just walking around taking in the surroundings (and taking the occasional picture).

Sky Tower
It is always a pleasure to experience fall colors and beauty.

Waiting for Bus in Istanbul

After reaching Istanbul and spending some time with a friend, its time to return home - at least for a while.
